Training
Practice
This practice is approved for the further training of fully-qualified doctors,
called GP Registrars, who are specialising in General Practice. During their
six to twelve month attachment, they are involved in all aspects of GP work,
including seeing patients in surgery, doing home visits and being on call.
Occasionally, video-taping of consultations is required (but only with the patient's
permission) to enable a confidential analysis of their abilities.
Sometimes we also have medical students with us as part of their course. If a
student is required to be present at your consultation, your prior permission
will be requested.
