Training Practice

This practice is approved for the further training of fully-qualified doctors, called GP Registrars, who are specialising in General Practice. During their six-month to twelve-month attachment, they are involved in all aspects of GP work, including seeing patients in surgery, doing home visits and being on call.

Occasionally, video-taping of consultations is required (but only with the patient's permission) to enable a confidential analysis of their abilities.

Sometimes we also have medical students with us as part of their course. If a student is required to be present at your consultation, your prior permission will be requested.
