TRAINING PRACTICE
This Practice is approved for the further training of fully-qualified doctors, called GP registrars, who are specialising in general Practice. During their six to twelve month attachment, they are involved in all aspects of GP work, including seeing patients in Surgery, doing home visits and being on call.
Occasionally, video-recording of consultations is required (with the patient’s permission) to enable a confidential analysis of their abilities.
Sometimes we also have medical students with us as part of their course. We will always ask your permission before a student is allowed to be present during your consultation.
